RN - Registered Nurse Educator - HHA Trainer

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for a Registered Nurse, RN, HHA Educator, Home Health Aide Instructor, for our Client, a Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) located in Nassau County, NY. This is a Direct Hire, Full Time position.RN - HHA Educator / Home Health Aide Instructor - Registered Nurse Overview:The Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) provides advanced clinical services and emotional support to patients. With a comprehensive range of services supported by an integrated health system, the staff is ready to assist in all areas of home health care services.

Responsibilities

RN will conduct orientation and ongoing education/ Certification for Home Health Aides hired for the Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA). Education may include the overall processes related to Care, aspects of care in the home setting, documentation and navigation of the electronic record, HHA Certification and topics commonly seen in the Home Health setting. It's strictly an in-office position, no field visits required. Previous education experience preferred but not 100% required, but must have Field Supervision experience in home care.

Qualifications

Valid NYS RN license, Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required, Masters in Education, Nursing or related field preferred. Two years of Home Health RN experience. Excellent Computer skills required. Ability to commute to Nassau County office, Suffolk County and Bronx for training as needed.
