Roads Engineer - Supervision - Consultancy

Required to join an international engineering consultancy working on a large scale infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. As a Roads Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising the construction of road and highway works, ensuring compliance with project requirements while working closely with contractors, clients, and the wider supervision team.Key responsibilities include:Design reviewMonitoring contractor performance to ensure works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project programmes.Inspecting completed works and identifying any non-conformances.Reviewing method statements, material submittals and inspection requests.Coordinating with utilities, drainage, structures and traffic teams to support efficient project delivery.Maintaining accurate site records and preparing progress reports.Supporting the Resident Engineer in managing project quality, safety and contractual compliance.Attending site meetings and liaising with contractors, clients and key stakeholders.Applicants should meet the following criteriaDegree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.Experience in the supervision of road, highway or major infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of construction methods, quality assurance processes and international engineering standards.Previous experience working for an engineering consultancy or supervision consultant.Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.Experience in the UAE
