Robotics Engineer

By collaborating with leading global technology partners, QSS enables customers to offer high-value services and build long-term client relationships.ResponsibilitiesDevelop robotics applications using Python, C++, and ROS 2.Integrate sensors, motors, controllers, cameras, LiDAR, IMUs, and embedded systems.Develop autonomous navigation, localization, mapping, path planning, and obstacle avoidance.Program and integrate collaborative robotic arms for pick-and-place, palletizing, inspection, and automation.Work with MoveIt 2, Nav2, TF2, URDF, RViz, and Gazebo.Interface with microcontrollers, NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, motor drivers, and industrial computers.Troubleshoot software, hardware, communication, and integration issues.Test, deploy, and document robotic systems.Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver within agreed timelines.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Minimum five years of professional robotics experience.Strong Python and ROS 2 experience.Working knowledge of C++ and Linux.Experience with autonomous mobile robots or autonomous vehicles.Experience with collaborative robotic arms and end-effectors.Knowledge of embedded systems and communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.Understanding of SLAM, navigation, robot control, kinematics, and sensor integration.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks.PreferredExperience with Universal Robots, ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Doosan, or similar platforms.Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, Isaac ROS, Docker, computer vision, or industrial automation.Experience deploying robotic systems at customer sites.
