Employment Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a hands-on Robotics Engineering Lead to help drive the development and deployment of advanced automation solutions in a manufacturing environment.This role is ideal for a robotics or automation professional who enjoys taking projects from concept through production.

You will work with collaborative robots (cobots), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), machine vision, sensors, and end-effectors to improve manufacturing processes, safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Identify manufacturing processes that are strong candidates for automation.Design, program, integrate, and commission collaborative robots for assembly, material handling, machine tending, inspection, and testing.Deploy and integrate autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for material movement across the factory floor.Own projects from requirements and concept design through simulation, build, testing, validation, and production handoff.Integrate robots, sensors, vision systems, and end-effectors with existing production equipment.Provide hands-on technical leadership and establish robotics engineering standards.Mentor engineers, technicians, and operators working with robotics systems.Evaluate robotics and automation vendors and support pilot projects.Partner with safety teams to complete risk assessments and ensure robotic systems meet applicable safety requirements.Develop documentation, operating procedures, and training materials for production teams.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.3+ years of experience in industrial automation or robotics.Experience deploying robotics or automation systems in a live manufacturing or production environment.Strong combination of software and mechanical engineering skills.Hands-on experience programming and integrating collaborative robots such as Universal Robots or similar platforms.Experience with robot end-effectors, grippers, and vision systems.Experience with AMRs and material-handling automation.Experience with cobot simulation and offline programming tools.Demonstrated ability to lead projects while remaining hands-on technically.Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
