Robotics Integration Manager to lead the integration of robotic systems, automation equipment, controls, software, vision systems, production machinery, and enterprise platforms into complete operational solutions.The ideal candidate will manage multidisciplinary integration programs from system architecture and engineering through testing, commissioning, production ramp-up, troubleshooting, optimization, and lifecycle support.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement robotics integration strategies aligned with operational and business objectives.Lead end-to-end integration programs for robotic cells, automated machinery, production lines, and intelligent material-handling systems.Assess existing processes and define automation and robotics integration opportunities.Develop system architectures covering robots, controls, mechanical systems, electrical systems, software, sensors, vision, safety, and communications.Define functional, technical, performance, interface, safety, and operational requirements.Coordinate mechanical, electrical, controls, software, robotics, vision, and manufacturing engineering activities.Select appropriate robots, controllers, end-of-arm tooling, sensors, actuators, conveyors, fixtures, and automation equipment.Manage integration of articulated robots, SCARA robots, delta robots, Cartesian systems, collaborative robots, AMRs, and other robotic platforms.Integrate robotic systems with PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, motion controllers, safety PLCs, and industrial networks.Coordinate machine vision systems for inspection, identification, guidance, measurement, and robotic positioning.Integrate robots with conveyors, machine tools, packaging equipment, assembly stations, inspection systems, and other production assets.Manage interfaces between robotic systems and WMS, MES, SCADA, ERP, warehouse-control, and manufacturing platforms.Establish communication standards and data interfaces using appropriate industrial protocols.Lead system design reviews, interface reviews, technical workshops, and integration planning sessions.Coordinate robot programming, sequencing, motion planning, path optimization, and cycle-time development.Oversee offline programming, simulation, reach studies, collision detection, and virtual commissioning where appropriate.Manage robotic tooling, fixtures, grippers, vacuum systems, clamps, and automated changeover mechanisms.Coordinate electrical and mechanical installation, system assembly, wiring, networking, and equipment configuration.Lead factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, integration testing, validation, and commissioning.Develop comprehensive test plans covering functionality, performance, safety, reliability, communications, and fault recovery.Monitor integration performance including cycle time, throughput, accuracy, reliability, availability, and system response.Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for integration failures, communication faults, robot errors, sensor issues, and equipment interactions.Coordinate corrective and preventive actions and verify successful resolution of recurring integration problems.Establish standardized integration methodologies, engineering templates, interface specifications, and technical documentation.Manage system configuration, software versions, robot programs, PLC logic, backups, and change control.Coordinate engineering changes and ensure modifications are fully tested and documented before production release.Manage integration risks, technical dependencies, commissioning constraints, and project escalation processes.Coordinate robotics integration with production schedules, facility requirements, utilities, infrastructure, and operational readiness.Manage system integrators, robotics OEMs, controls suppliers, software providers, engineering consultants, and technology partners.Define supplier technical requirements, acceptance criteria, SLAs, warranties, support models, and delivery responsibilities.Monitor supplier performance, technical quality, project schedules, issue resolution, and commissioning support.Manage integration project budgets, capital expenditures, resources, timelines, and commercial requirements.Evaluate system performance, total cost of ownership, scalability, maintainability, and return on investment.Support new product introduction, production-line expansion, plant modernization, and automation transformation projects.Ensure integrated systems are designed for maintainability, serviceability, scalability, and future technology upgrades.Establish preventive and predictive maintenance requirements for integrated robotic systems.Coordinate with Maintenance and Reliability teams to improve equipment availability and lifecycle performance.Establish fault-detection, diagnostics, remote-support, and recovery procedures for integrated systems.Ensure robotic and automated systems comply with applicable machinery safety, functional safety, electrical, EMC, and operational requirements.Conduct integration risk assessments, FMEA, hazard reviews, and safety validation activities where appropriate.Coordinate cybersecurity controls for connected robots, industrial networks, controllers, edge devices, and software platforms.Develop operating procedures, maintenance instructions, troubleshooting guides, emergency procedures, and system documentation.Coordinate training for operators, programmers, engineers, technicians, maintenance personnel, and support teams.Establish competency standards for robotics programming, controls, troubleshooting, and system operation.Evaluate emerging integration technologies including AI-enabled robotics, digital twins, edge computing, computer vision, IIoT, and intelligent diagnostics.Promote Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, reliability engineering, and continuous-improvement practices across robotics integration activities.Establish robotics integration standards, technology roadmaps, reusable architectures, and engineering best practices.Provide management with regular reports covering project status, manufacturing engineering, or automated equipment deployment, preferably within automotive, electronics, semiconductor, industrial equipment, logistics, consumer goods, or high-volume manufacturing environments.The candidate should demonstrate:Strong knowledge of industrial robotics and automated system integration.Experience leading multidisciplinary robotics integration projects.Hands-on understanding of robot programming, controls, motion systems, sensors, tooling, and machine interfaces.Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, drives, safety controllers, and industrial communication networks.Experience integrating robotic systems with production equipment, conveyors, vision systems, and automated machinery.Strong understanding of robotic cell design, sequencing, cycle-time optimization, and system performance.Experience with robot simulation, offline programming, virtual commissioning, or digital engineering tools.Knowledge of machine vision, sensor integration, industrial networking, and automation data systems.Experience integrating robotics with MES, SCADA, WMS, ERP, or other enterprise and operational platforms.Strong understanding of machinery safety, functional safety, risk assessment, and compliance requirements.Experience managing FAT, SAT, commissioning, validation, troubleshooting, and production ramp-up.Strong root-cause-analysis and technical problem-solving capabilities.Experience managing OEMs, system integrators, suppliers, contractors, and technology partners.Ability to evaluate technical proposals, integration architectures,
