Designed for organizations in sectors such as financial services, supply chain, retail, healthcare, insurance, human resources, legal, and IT, Cruq AI helps teams accelerate processes, improve accuracy, and maintain a competitive edge through intelligent automation.Role Description The Robotics Maintenance Specialist, Frontier AI & Robotics (FAR) role is a full-time remote position responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing robotic systems used within Cruq AI’s automation platform and client deployments. In this role, the specialist will perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of robots and associated mechatronic components to ensure reliable operation. The specialist will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate robotics with process automation workflows, document maintenance procedures, and implement upgrades or modifications. Day-to-day activities include monitoring system performance, responding to incident reports, performing preventive maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for robotics and frontier AI capabilities. The role also involves providing technical guidance to internal stakeholders and clients on best practices for operating and maintaining robotic systems.QualificationsStrong foundational skills in Robotics and Robot systems, including configuration, diagnostics, and performance optimization.Experience with Process Automation and Automation technologies, particularly in integrating robotics into end-to-end workflows.Knowledge of Mechatronics, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems relevant to robotic hardware maintenance.Ability to collaborate with AI, software, and operations teams to align robotics capabilities with business and technical requirements.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Familiarity with industrial or collaborative robots, sensors, PLCs, and safety standards is beneficial.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and uptime.Effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment.
