We’re currently working with six ambitious robotics and technology companies across the US, spanning early-stage startups through to highly funded Series D scale-ups.These businesses are building robots, intelligent machines, manufacturing systems and AI powered technologies that are changing what is possible across physical industry.We’re hiring across multiple engineering disciplines, including Robotics Engineers, Robotics Software Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, ML / Machine Learning Engineers, AI Systems & Infrastructure Engineers, Controls Engineers, Automation Engineers and broader multidisciplinary engineering profiles.Key Details:Salaries range from 140k-380k depending on seniority + equity and/or bonusesCompanies: Six robotics and technology companies, ranging from highly funded seed-stage startups operating in stealth through to established Series D scale-ups.Locations: Opportunities across San Francisco, Denver, Seattle, Texas and Boston, with specific location requirements varying between companies.Experience: Opportunities across multiple levels, from engineers early in their careers (minimum 2 years commercial experience since graduating) through to Senior, Principal and Staff level professionals.Career Outlook: These are businesses where exceptional engineers can have an enormous impact. Depending on the company, you could join a small founding engineering team, take ownership of critical robotic systems, help scale manufacturing operations, or progress into technical leadership as the organisation grows.Key Experience and Skills Desired, but not at all required:Engineering: Experience developing robotic systems, autonomous machines, industrial automation or other complex physical systems. We’re particularly interested in engineers who enjoy working at the intersection of hardware and software.Manipulation & High Dexterity: Experience working with robot arms, pick and place systems, precision manufacturing, manipulation, dexterous robotics or high accuracy automated systems is highly relevant.Robotics Software: Experience developing software that controls, coordinates or optimises robotic systems. Experience with ROS, motion planning, robot optimisation, perception or control systems is highly desirable.Manufacturing Engineering: Experience improving manufacturing processes, automation, production systems, tooling, assembly, precision engineering or bringing complex hardware products from development into production.Python: Strong Python development experience is highly relevant across several of the opportunities, particularly where robotics, simulation, AI or automation are involved.Simulation: Familiarity with robotic simulation environments such as MuJoCo, PyBullet or similar platforms is valuable.Software & Interfaces: Experience with TypeScript, React, APIs or modern software development can be relevant depending on the company and product.Infrastructure: Experience with infrastructure and deployment tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, systemd or similar technologies is advantageous for robotics software and platform focused positions.Tech Stack Flexibility: We are extremely flexible on technology stacks. The six companies operate across very different engineering environments, so you do not need to match every technology listed above. Strong robotics fundamentals, exceptional engineering ability, manufacturing expertise, or experience solving complex physical world problems can be equally valuable.Problem Solving: You enjoy problems that don't have an obvious answer. Robotics is inherently multidisciplinary, and we're looking for engineers who can experiment, diagnose, iterate and build solutions when the textbook doesn't provide one.Startup Mindset: A genuine interest in joining a startup or scaling technology company is important. These are environments where ownership, speed, curiosity and adaptability matter enormously.Roles Overview:We’re working with six companies, each building something different, and we're looking for engineers who could potentially fit across multiple opportunities. One company is operating in stealth after securing eight figures of investment, building out an early engineering team around a highly ambitious robotics platform. Another is a Series D scale-up, with significant resources and an established engineering organisation working on sophisticated robotic and manufacturing technology.Others sit somewhere between those two extremes, giving engineers the opportunity to join companies at different stages of growth and take on very different levels of ownership:You could be working on robotic manipulation.Precision manufacturing.Robot arms.Autonomous systems.Motion planning.Simulation.AI powered robotics.Production automation.Or the infrastructure that makes all of it work reliably at scale.To be clear, you aren't applying blindly to six identical robotics jobs. We'll review your experience, understand what you're interested in building, and identify which of the six companies could genuinely make sense for you.Either way, you'll be working alongside engineers solving real physical world problems, using robotics, software, AI and advanced manufacturing to build things that didn't exist before.If you're excited by robotics and want to work somewhere where what you build actually moves, operates, manufactures, manipulates or changes something in the physical world, this is an opportunity worth exploring.Speculative applications are actively encouraged for these.
