Robotics Software Engineer.

I'm currently working with an exciting robotics startup based in Cambridge, MA, that is looking to hire a Robotics Software Engineer.The position offers a salary of $150,000–$175,000, alongside competitive startup equity and comprehensive health benefits. You need to be able to work onsite 3 days per week. We are looking for an engineer to start in October.In this role, you'll help design and develop the software that powers next-generation robotic systems, working across areas such as perception, controls, infrastructure, deployment, and system reliability. The team is looking for engineers with strong C++ and Python skills, experience working with robotic systems, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges in real-world environments.Key areas of experience include:• Robotics software development and deployment• C++ and Python programming• Perception, localization, and state estimation• Motion planning, controls, and kinematics• Robotics sensors such as LiDAR, RGB-D cameras, and IMUs• Cloud, edge, and DevOps infrastructureAdditional experience with robotics simulation, machine learning pipelines, open-source robotics projects, web development, or VR technologies would be advantageous.Why join?This is an opportunity to join a small, highly technical team at an early stage and have a direct impact on both the product and company.
