Robotics Technician

We are looking for a Robotics Technician for a rapidly growing robotics and artificial intelligence company in San Francisco, CA. This role will support robotic fleet operations through maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and preventative maintenance activities.Job Logistics• Shifts:12:00 AM - 8:00 AM8:00 AM - 3:00 PM3:00 PM - 12:00 AM• Schedule: Monday-Friday• Location: San Francisco, CA• Travel: Onsite travel support only. No travel to other locations currently.• Type: Full Time, Direct Placement• Work Model: Onsite• Overtime: ExpectedDay to Day• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures• Diagnose controllers, motors, sensors, wiring, and power systems• Repair robotic fleet equipment• Complete preventative maintenance activities• Perform testing and calibration• Document repairs and maintenance activities• Support engineering and operations teams• Improve robotic fleet reliabilityRequirements• 2+ years troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment• Experience with robotics, automation systems, or actuated machinery• Ability to diagnose electrical faults• Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, or PLCs• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco• Open to overtime when neededPlusses• Robotic fleet experience• Military maintenance background• Elevator/escalator experience• E-bike experience• Industrial machinery experience• IPC certification• ASE certification• NATE certification• Startup experience• Research environment experienceCompensation: $40/hr - $60/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
