Experienced Roofer or Foreman – Ready for the Next Step?AKT Roofing is an established roofing contractor based in Bournemouth, carrying out a wide range of roofing projects across Dorset and the surrounding areas.We are looking for an experienced roofer, foreman or roofing supervisor who is ready to progress into a Contracts Supervisor / Management position.This is an opportunity for someone with strong practical roofing knowledge who understands how jobs should be organised and delivered, but who may not yet have had the opportunity to move fully into management.You do not need to already be an experienced Contracts Manager. We are interested in finding the right person with the roofing knowledge, attitude and organisational ability to develop into the role.The role will include:Supervising and organising roofing teams and projectsPlanning labour, materials and day-to-day site requirementsMonitoring workmanship, productivity and progressCommunicating with customers, operatives and managementHelping maintain high standards of health & safetyIdentifying and resolving site issuesTaking increasing responsibility for projects from start through to completionWe are looking for someone with:Strong practical roofing experienceExperience as a roofer, lead roofer, foreman or supervisorGood organisational and communication skillsThe ability to manage people and take responsibilityA professional approach to customers and colleaguesA full UK driving licencePrevious management experience and relevant qualifications would be advantageous, but practical roofing knowledge, leadership ability and attitude are more important.Salary: £45,000–£55,000 per year, depending on experience and ability Company vehicle Full-time, permanent position Based in Bournemouth, covering Dorset and surrounding areasIf you are an experienced roofer or foreman who feels ready to move away from being permanently on the tools and take the next step in your career, we would be very interested in speaking with you.
