Employees are encouraged to collaborate and uphold high standards of service and presentation.Role Description The Room Attendant role is a full-time, on-site position based at Siesta Legian Hotel in Bali, Indonesia. The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, including making beds, replenishing amenities, and ensuring all areas meet hotel cleanliness standards. Daily tasks include maintaining bathrooms, vacuuming and dusting, handling laundry items, and reporting maintenance or safety issues to supervisors. The role also involves responding to guest requests in a courteous manner, assisting with additional housekeeping duties in public areas when required, and following health, safety, and hygiene procedures. Room Attendants work as part of the housekeeping team to ensure a comfortable, welcoming environment for all guests.Qualifications Strong housekeeping skills, including the ability to clean rooms efficiently and maintain high cleanliness standards.Experience or familiarity with laundry tasks, including sorting, handling, and caring for linens and guest items.Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with guests and colleagues.Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and moving cleaning equipment.Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is an advantage but not required.Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed by hotel operations.Basic understanding of English or other common tourist languages is beneficial.
