Rigorous QHSE standards and technical capabilities help protect asset value, support operational continuity, and deliver consistent results in demanding environments.Role Description The Rope Access Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The technician will carry out rope access operations on high-rise and complex structures, including façade cleaning, routine maintenance, repairs, and installations. Daily tasks include planning and executing safe work at height, setting up and inspecting rope systems and equipment, and adhering to established QHSE procedures and company safety protocols. The role involves performing visual and basic technical inspections, documenting work performed, and reporting any defects or hazards to supervisors. The technician will work closely with team members and site management to ensure that projects are completed on schedule with minimal disruption to building operations.Qualifications Demonstrated skills and experience in Rope Access operations, including safe use of industrial rope systems.Strong capability in Working at Height / Work at Height, with thorough understanding of related safety standards and procedures.Proficiency in Window Cleaning and façade maintenance on high-rise and complex structures.Experience in conducting site and façade Inspection, with the ability to identify issues and report findings accurately.Valid IRATA or equivalent rope access certification (Level 1 or higher), and up-to-date work-at-height training.Good physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor, elevated, and sometimes challenging conditions.Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with access equipment such as MEWPs, BMUs, or scaffolding is an advantage.Attention to detail, strong awareness of safety, and ability to follow instructions and documented procedures.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams.Previous experience in high-level cleaning, maintenance, or construction environments in the UAE or GCC region is beneficial.
