The organization offers opportunities to develop skills in subsea operations and contribute to complex marine projects.Role Description The ROV Pilot will operate and monitor ROV systems during subsea missions, ensuring safe and efficient underwater inspection and intervention activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include maneuvering the ROV, managing cameras and sensors, assisting with deployment and retrieval, and supporting maintenance and basic troubleshooting of ROV equipment. The role also involves documenting mission results, collaborating with subsea engineers and diving teams, and adhering to all safety and operational procedures. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Antananarivo, working in coordination with field operations that may involve travel to coastal or offshore locations.QualificationsSubsea operations skills, including Subsea Engineering and practical understanding of underwater systems.Marine fieldwork capabilities, such as Diving experience and familiarity with offshore environments.Technical and mechanical skills in Maintenance & Repair of ROVs and related equipment.Safety and compliance qualifications, including BOSIET or equivalent offshore safety training.Inspection skills for conducting and documenting underwater Inspection tasks with attention to detail.Strong problem-solving skills, situational awareness, and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.Effective communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with multidisciplinary field teams.Relevant technical diploma or degree in marine engineering, electronics, robotics, or a related field is preferred.Willingness to work in challenging environments and comply with all health, safety, and environmental standards.RequirementsWillingness to live and work in MadgascarMalagasy Nationals or existing work visas preffered
