We’d love to hear from you.About the RoleThe RTG Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes within the terminal, supporting the timely movement, stacking, loading, and unloading of containers while ensuring compliance with operational procedures and safety standards. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate RTG cranes safely and efficiently for container handling operations.Perform container loading, unloading, stacking, grounding, and yard movement activities.Utilize automated RTG functions, including yard profiling, auto gantry, soft landing, and anti-collision systems.Utilize ROS/SCADA systems to receive and execute operational jobs.Perform RTG block changes and follow remote operation protocols.Conduct routine RTG inspections and report equipment issues or abnormalities.Coordinate with Terminal Operations, Engineering, and HSSE teams to support smooth operations.Monitor RTG operations and support efforts to minimize equipment downtime.Follow operational procedures and all applicable safety requirements.Support physical inventory counts and daily operational reporting when required.Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures. Qualifications & ExperienceSecondary School Certificate or equivalent.Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.Hands-on experience in RTG operations and container handling.Additional certification or training in RTG operation and automation systems is preferred.Good communication skills with an understanding of English and Arabic.Ability to work effectively in an outdoor terminal operations environment.Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency.Interested in joining us?
