Russian Language teacher - Part-time

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Russian Language Teacher role based at Plekhanov University in Dubai. The teacher will deliver engaging Russian language lessons to students at various proficiency levels, using a range of instructional methods and resources to support different learning styles. Typical responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, designing classroom activities, assessing student progress through assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of attendance and grades, participating in curriculum development, and collaborating with colleagues to improve teaching practices. The teacher is expected to foster an inclusive, respectful classroom environment and support students’ language development and cultural understanding.Qualifications Ability to teach Russian effectively, with strong skills in Language Teaching and Teaching across different levels.Competence in Lesson Planning and Education, including designing structured courses and aligning lessons with learning outcomes.Knowledge of Russian Literature and culture to enrich language instruction and classroom discussions.Fluency in Russian and strong command of English for instruction and communication in a multicultural academic environment.Relevant degree in Russian Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; advanced qualifications or teaching certifications are an advantage.Experience teaching in higher education or formal classroom settings, preferably with diverse international student groups.Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices.Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and administration, and openness to using educational technologies and modern teaching methodologies.
