Role Description The Russian Speaker-Professional Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at Plekhanov University’s Dubai campus. The specialist supports learners and professionals by designing and delivering development programs, workshops, and training sessions in Russian and English. Daily responsibilities include assessing participants’ learning needs, creating tailored training materials, and facilitating group and one-on-one sessions to build academic, professional, and soft skills. The role involves mentoring students and early-career professionals, tracking progress, preparing reports on learning outcomes, and collaborating with faculty and administrative staff to align programs with institutional goals. The specialist also engages in outreach activities, contributes to career development initiatives, and ensures a high standard of learner support within a multicultural environment.Qualifications Strong proficiency in Russian and English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.Experience in training, coaching, or professional development, including designing and delivering workshops or educational programs.Ability to assess learning needs, develop structured curricula, and create clear, engaging training materials.Demonstrated skills in mentoring, advising, or counseling students and professionals in diverse settings.Comfort working in an international, multicultural academic environment and collaborating across departments.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple programs and deadlines.Proficiency with standard office and presentation software; familiarity with online learning platforms is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Communications, or a related field; a graduate degree or relevant certifications in training or professional development are preferred.Prior experience in higher education, career services, or corporate learning and development is highly beneficial.
