Role Description This full-time, on-site Russian Speaker Social Media Specialist role at Plekhanov University is based in Dubai. The specialist will manage and grow the university’s social media presence across key platforms, with a primary focus on Russian-language content. Daily tasks include planning and publishing posts, monitoring engagement and responding to comments and messages, and ensuring brand consistency in all communications. The role involves collaborating with academic and administrative teams to promote programs, events, and initiatives, as well as adapting global content for the local and Russian-speaking audience. The specialist will track performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and recommend improvements based on data and current social media trends.Qualifications Fluency in Russian and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.Experience managing social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, VK, Telegram, LinkedIn) for an organization or brand.Ability to create engaging, culturally appropriate content for Russian-speaking audiences, including posts, captions, and basic visual assets.Strong understanding of social media best practices, audience engagement strategies, and platform-specific analytics tools.Proficiency using social media management tools (such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or similar) and basic image/video editing software.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and to receive and incorporate feedback constructively.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Prior experience in higher education, international education, or student recruitment is an advantage.Eligibility to work on-site in Dubai and willingness to support occasional evening or weekend events as needed.
