Role Description This full-time, on-site Russian Speaker – Student Affairs role at Plekhanov University in Dubai focuses on supporting students throughout their academic journey. The role involves providing guidance on enrollment, registration, and academic policies, as well as responding to student inquiries in Russian and English via in-person meetings, email, and phone. The professional in this position will assist with orientation programs, student events, and workshops, ensuring clear communication of university procedures and services. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with academic and administrative departments, and helping resolve student concerns in a timely and respectful manner. The role also requires promoting student engagement, monitoring student satisfaction, and contributing to a welcoming, inclusive campus environment.Qualifications Strong Russian and English language skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in speaking and writing.Experience in student services, academic advising, or customer service in an educational or similar setting.Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and conflict resolution.Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple student inquiries and administrative tasks.Proficiency with office software and student information systems; ability to maintain accurate records and reports.Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and commitment to supporting a diverse student population.Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, administration, or a related field is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Dubai and collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.
