This full-time, on-site role in Dubai, United Arab Emirates involves advising students on university policies and procedures, assisting with enrollment and registration processes, and supporting orientation and transition programs. The specialist will coordinate student activities and events, help resolve student concerns, and promote engagement with campus resources and services. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate student records, preparing reports, communicating with students and families in Russian and English, and collaborating with academic and administrative departments to improve the student experience. The role also involves supporting international students, organizing workshops and information sessions, and ensuring all activities align with university guidelines and local regulations.Qualifications Strong student advising and support skills, with the ability to guide students on academic and personal matters in a professional and empathetic manner.Fluent Russian language skills, with strong proficiency in English (spoken and written) and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.Experience in organizing student events, workshops, and activities, including planning, coordination, and follow-up.Solid administrative and organizational skills, including record-keeping, report preparation, and use of office software and student information systems.Customer service and conflict-resolution abilities, with a focus on handling student inquiries and concerns in a respectful and solutions-oriented way.Knowledge of higher education or student affairs practices, preferably within international or cross-cultural environments.Ability to work effectively on-site in Dubai, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Business, or a related field; prior experience in student affairs or academic support is an advantage.
