Russian Speaker Student Affairs Specialist

Role Description The Russian Speaker Student Affairs Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at Plekhanov University’s Dubai campus. The specialist supports students throughout their academic journey, with a focus on Russian-speaking learners, by providing guidance on enrollment, registration, academic policies, and campus services. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to student inquiries, organizing orientation and student engagement activities, maintaining accurate student records, and coordinating with academic and administrative departments to resolve student issues. The role also involves preparing reports on student affairs, contributing to student communications, and ensuring a welcoming, inclusive environment that promotes student success and well-being.Qualifications Strong proficiency in Russian and English, with clear spoken and written communication skills.Experience in student services, academic advising, or higher education administration.Ability to manage student records and documentation with attention to detail and confidentiality.Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple student cases and events.Interpersonal skills for working effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff.Comfort with office software and student information systems; familiarity with CRM or database tools is an advantage.Problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess student needs and provide appropriate support or referrals.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field; prior experience in an international or multicultural university setting in the UAE is a plus.
