Our platform supports payment routing, transaction processing,reconciliation, reporting, fraud prevention and integrations with multiple payment providers.We are looking for a talented Rust Developer to help build and scale the core infrastructurepowering our platform.Role OverviewAs a Rust Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-performance backend services and APIs. You will work closely with product, engineeringand infrastructure teams to build secure, scalable and reliable systems that support criticalpayment and transaction workflows.About YouYou are highly driven, take ownership of your work, and enjoy solving complex technicalchallenges. You write clean, efficient code, think critically about system design, and arecommitted to building reliable, high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities● Design, develop and maintain backend services using Rust.● Build scalable APIs and microservices.● Develop integrations with payment providers and third-party systems.● Optimise system performance, reliability and security.● Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.● Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.● Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.● Collaborate with product, QA and DevOps teams throughout the developmentlifecycle.● Contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices.Required Skills & Experience● Strong experience developing applications in Rust.● Solid understanding of backend architecture and API development.● Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.● Experience building scalable distributed systems.● Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.● Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.Preferred Experience● Experience in payments, fintech or financial services.● Experience with cloud platforms and containerised environments.● Knowledge of message queues, event-driven systems and microservices.● Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis or similar technologies.● Understanding of security and performance best practices.
