This role is responsible for owning strategy, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining a strong customer-first approach.This is a fully onsite leadership role based in Dublin, best suited for candidates who thrive in operational environments and value close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy & LeadershipOwn and execute the Safer Gambling strategy aligned with company objectives and regulatory expectationsLead, structure, and develop the Safer Gambling functionDirectly manage and mentor the Safer Gambling ManagerFoster a high-performance culture through coaching, feedback, and developmentTeam Management & PlanningConduct performance reviews, resource planning, and succession planningEnsure appropriate staffing, rota planning, and workload distributionAct as an escalation point for complex and high-risk casesOperations Oversight (Safer Gambling, EDD & Complaints)Oversee Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes, including affordability and source of funds checksOwn the Safer Gambling complaints framework and ensure fair, consistent handlingManage high-risk and sensitive escalations across EDD and complaintsProcess Improvement & ComplianceDrive continuous improvement across Safer Gambling, EDD, and complaints processesEnsure policies and procedures remain compliant and operationally effectivePartner with Compliance on audits and regulatory requestsMaintain robust documentation and audit trailsCollaboration & TrainingWork closely with Customer Support and operational teams to embed best practicesOwn and deliver training strategy across Safer Gambling, EDD, and complaints functionsPromote consistent decision-making and accountability across teamsData & ReportingEstablish and monitor KPIs to measure team and operational performanceUse data insights to drive improvements and efficiencyProduce reports for senior stakeholders

Requirements

Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., UKGC or equivalent)Strong expertise in affordability checks, EDD, and complaints handlingProven experience managing and developing teamsStrong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiencySolid understanding of customer support operationsAbility to manage multiple priorities independentlyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh proficiency with productivity and reporting tools
