Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout Our Client:On behalf of a leading international manufacturing group in the FMCG/Industrialsector, Randstad is currently seeking a Safety & Prevention Culture Specialist for itsmanufacturing facility located in the Gipuzkoa area.Role Purpose:Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and dotted-line to the Corporate Health & SafetyDirection, your primary focus will not be administrative or environmental paperwork, butleading and driving a safety culture transformation ("Zero Accidents") across the plant.You will actively promote safety leadership, shop-floor presence (Gemba mindset), andbehavior-based safety across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
● Drive Safety Culture Transformation: Engage and empower plant management,supervisors, and operators to build a continuous "Safety First" mindset (SafetyLeadership).● Shop-Floor Management (Gemba Focus): Implement behavior-based safetyaudits, conduct root-cause analysis for incidents, and carry out active riskassessments on the shop floor.● Training & Coaching: Design and lead training plans focused on risk perception,safety behaviors, and hazard identification for factory teams.● Compliance & Audits: Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safetyregulations, coordinate internal/external safety audits, and oversee contractor safetyactivities (CAE).● Corporate Collaboration: Partner with global health and safety teams to align plantpractices with group standards, tracking safety KPIs and sharing key learnings.Candidate Profile & Requirements:● Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in safety managementand driving safety culture change within industrial or plant manufacturingenvironments.● Education: University Degree (Engineering background preferred) + Master’sDegree in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) (preferably all 3 specialties).● Languages: Fluent English (minimum B2 / Upper-Intermediate) is essential forregular reporting and collaboration with corporate global teams.● Key Skills: Strong influence without direct authority, execution-focused, analytical,excellent communicator, and comfortable working hands-on in process/automatedplant environments.
