Apply & track with Apply EdgeHealth & Safety ComplianceEnforce HSE policies, procedures, and site safety rules.Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law, Saudi Civil Defense, and relevant regulations.Monitor contractor and employee adherence to safety standards.2. Site Safety MonitoringConduct daily site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.Monitor high-risk activities such as:Confined space entryHot workWorking at heightHeavy equipment & lifting operationsStop unsafe acts and conditions immediately.3. Incident ManagementReport, investigate, and document:AccidentsNear missesUnsafe acts and conditionsAssist in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation.Maintain incident and safety performance records.4. Training & AwarenessDeliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety briefings.Promote safety awareness campaigns and behavioral safety initiatives.Ensure workers are trained and certified for their assigned tasks.5. Documentation & ReportingPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports.Maintain records of:PTWsRisk Assessments (JSA/JHA)Inspections and auditsSupport internal and client safety audits.6. Emergency PreparednessParticipate in emergency response planning and drills.Ensure availability and readiness of firefighting and emergency equipment.Assist in evacuation and emergency response coordination.Qualifications & ExperienceEducationDiploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field.Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred)NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory)IOSH / OSHA (Preferred)First Aid & Fire Fighting CertificatesConfined Space / Work at Height (Preferred)ExperienceMinimum 3–5 years experience as a Safety Officer in:MiningHeavy industryConstruction or industrial projectsPrior experience in mining or similar environments is an advantage.Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of HSE regulations and mining safety standards.Ability to identify hazards and implement controls effectively.Good communication skills (English mandatory, Arabic preferred).Report writing and documentation skills.Proactive, firm, and safety-driven attitude.Physical & Work ConditionsAbility to work in harsh site and weather conditions.Willingness to work shifts, extended hours, or rotation schedules.Site-based role with extensive field presence.Performance Indicators (KPIs)Zero fatalities and reduced recordable incidents.Compliance with site HSE requirements.Quality of safety inspections and reporting.Participation in safety initiatives and audits.
