Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified Safety Engineer to oversee all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) aspects of construction and landscape projects. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with safety regulations, implement preventive measures, conduct risk assessments, and promote a strong safety culture across all project sites.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and enforce compliance with HSE standards, local regulations, and project-specific safety requirements.Develop, implement, and update safety policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments to identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions.Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports with root-cause analysis and preventive recommendations.Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for site personnel and subcontractors.Coordinate emergency response plans and ensure readiness of safety equipment.Maintain HSE documentation, permits, logs, and compliance records.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to integrate safety into daily operations.Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure safe practices in all site activities.Support continual improvement initiatives to strengthen safety performance and reduce incidents.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Proven experience working as a Safety Engineer in construction, infrastructure, or landscape projects.Strong understanding of HSE regulations, risk assessment practices, and safety management systems.Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly preferred.Excellent communication and training skills.Strong analytical and reporting abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site responsibilities.
