By reimagining risk management, MAC Safety enables clients to mitigate threats while unlocking growth and innovation.Role Description The Safety Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pittsburgh, PA, responsible for overseeing and advancing occupational health and safety programs across client operations. The role involves developing, implementing, and updating safety policies and procedures, conducting regular site inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and MAC Safety standards. The Safety Manager will lead and deliver safety training, perform accident and incident investigations, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions. This position also collaborates with project teams and client leadership to identify hazards, recommend risk mitigation strategies, and promote a strong safety culture. The Safety Manager will use data and field observations to drive continuous improvement in safety performance and support MAC Safety’s commitment to operational excellence.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Occupational Health and Industrial Safety skills, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.Candidates should possess Safety Training and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) skills, including developing and delivering training programs and managing EHS initiatives.Candidates should possess Accident Investigation skills, including root-cause analysis, incident documentation, and implementation of corrective actions.Candidates should have knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices.Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to engage teams and leadership at all levels.Candidates should have experience using safety management systems, reporting tools, and basic data analysis to track performance and trends.Preferred qualifications include prior experience in industrial or construction environments and a safety-related certification (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHST) or equivalent.A relevant degree or technical background in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, or a related field is beneficial.
