Job Description – Safety OfficerCompany: NSH SaudiPosition: Safety OfficerIndustry: Oil & Gas / EPC / ConstructionLocation: Saudi ArabiaJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Safety Officer to ensure the implementation of HSE standards and safe working practices across Oil & Gas projects in Saudi Arabia.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and project safety requirements.Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify hazards and unsafe practices.Conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Inductions, and HSE awareness sessions.Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) activities and ensure proper safety controls are in place.Conduct and review Risk Assessments, JSA/JHA, and HIRA.Monitor high-risk activities including work at height, lifting operations, hot work, confined space, excavation, and scaffolding.Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety procedures.Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.Maintain daily safety reports, inspection checklists, and HSE documentation.Coordinate with supervisors and project management to close safety observations and corrective actions.Participate in emergency drills and ensure emergency procedures are followed.Ensure compliance with client and Saudi regulatory HSE requirements.Promote a strong safety culture among employees and subcontractors.Mandatory RequirementsNEBOSH IGC 3 is mandatory.Minimum 3 years of relevant Safety/HSE work experience after completing NEBOSH IGC 3 is mandatory.Overall minimum 5 to 7 years of Safety/HSE experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, construction, or industrial projects.Gulf/Saudi experience is mandatory/preferred as per project requirement.Oil & Gas project experience is mandatory.Experience with Saudi Aramco/client HSE standards will be highly preferred.Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.Good knowledge of PTW, Risk Assessment, JSA/JHA, HIRA, Incident Investigation, and Emergency Response.Good communication and reporting skills.Preferred CertificationsNEBOSH IGC 3 – MandatoryIOSH / OSHA – Added advantageOther relevant HSE certifications will be an advantage.Important: Candidates who have completed NEBOSH IGC 3 but do not have at least 3 years of Safety/HSE experience after completing NEBOSH IGC 3 will not be considered.If interested kindly share your updated CV at mary@multilinkindia.com or What's app at 8657021173
