Job Posting – Safety OfficerSafety Officer – HSE (Arab National)Location: Dubai, UAE Department: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Reporting To: Director of Operations Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience Nationality: Arab NationalAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Officer to support our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) function and work closely with the Director of Operations.The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring workplace safety, conducting inspections and risk assessments, supporting incident investigations, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. The HR hiring request specifies 3–5 years of relevant Occupational Health & Safety/HSE experience, with experience in healthcare, hospital, veterinary, or other complex operational environments preferred. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.Monitor and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely completion.Support the reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses.Assist with emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, fire drills, and safety exercises.Promote safety awareness and provide safety guidance and training to employees.Monitor the proper availability and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Maintain accurate HSE records, inspection reports, incident reports, and documentation.Monitor compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.Coordinate with various departments to resolve safety-related concerns.Assist in reviewing and updating safety procedures and emergency plans.Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and relevant external stakeholders on HSE matters.Prepare regular HSE reports and updates for the Director of Operations and management.Escalate significant safety risks or incidents to management promptly.Perform other duties related to HSE and workplace safety as assigned. Qualifications & RequirementsArab National.Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.Relevant professional HSE/Safety certification is preferred.Minimum 3–5 years of relevant Occupational Health & Safety/HSE experience.Previous experience in healthcare, hospital, veterinary, or complex operational environments is preferred.Good knowledge of workplace safety principles, risk assessment, hazard identification, and emergency procedures.Experience in incident reporting and investigation.Experience conducting workplace safety inspections and audits.Experience supporting emergency preparedness and safety drills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Good report-writing and documentation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Knowledge of UAE health and safety requirements is an advantage.
