Schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Safety Officer will oversee daily health and safety practices across the school premises, including classrooms, playgrounds, administrative areas, and facilities. Responsibilities include conducting regular safety inspections, identifying and mitigating hazards, monitoring compliance with safety policies and local regulations, and maintaining accurate safety records and reports. The role involves coordinating emergency preparedness plans, leading drills, and providing safety training and guidance to staff and students. The Safety Officer will collaborate with school leadership, facilities staff, and security personnel to ensure a safe environment that supports learning and well-being.Qualifications Strong knowledge of Health & Safety standards and Occupational Health practices relevant to educational environments.Demonstrated experience in Accident Investigation and incident reporting, with the ability to recommend preventive measures.Experience in managing Security procedures and protocols to support a safe and orderly campus.Ability to design and deliver Safety Training for staff and students, including emergency response and safe conduct.Relevant certification or diploma in occupational health and safety or a related field; professional safety credentials are an advantage.Familiarity with Saudi Arabian safety regulations and compliance requirements, or willingness to learn and apply them promptly.Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.Proficiency in basic computer applications for documentation and reporting; fluency in English, with Arabic language skills considered beneficial.
