Promote a safe workplace by monitoring risks, conducting inspections, and supporting proactive safety initiatives.
Responsibilities
Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards across assigned facilities.Conduct site inspections, safety walks, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring timely reporting and root cause analysis.Provide safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions to employees and contractors.Ensure compliance with Saudi labor law, local safety regulations, and international best practices.Maintain accurate HSE records, including audits, inspections, and training documentation.Support emergency preparedness by conducting drills and ensuring readiness of fire safety and emergency response equipment.Collaborate with supervisors and foremen to implement corrective measures and track safety performance.Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors during inspections and compliance checks.Promote a positive safety culture by encouraging reporting, awareness, and accountability across all staff levels.Ensure alignment of individual and team efforts with the organization's strategic goals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve desired outcomes.Education & Experiences:Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.Minimum Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in HSE or safety roles, preferably in facility management, construction, or industrial services.Professional Technical Certificate:
- NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent (mandatory).
- OSHA, IOSH, or other relevant certifications (preferred).Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to conduct investigations and prepare clear safety reports.
- Strong communication and training delivery skills.
- Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in dynamic operational environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with safety management systems.
