Safety Technician

Job Purpose:Maintaining a safe and secure work environment for employees, contractors, and visitors by enforcing quality standards, occupational health, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Implement safety and occupational health plans, alongside civil defense and fire prevention protocols to protect staff and visitors. Conduct regular training sessions for employees regarding safety policies and emergency response procedures. Monitor internal and external compliance with occupational health and safety rules, addressing violations promptly. Conduct daily routine inspections of equipment, safety gear, and emergency tools to verify compliance and operational readiness. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance departments during construction or modification works to ensure safety standards are met. Monitor employee adherence to safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Intermediate qualification / Diploma. Certifications: Professional certification in Safety and Occupational Health. Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.Skills & Competencies: Strong attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Problem-solving abilities under pressure.
