Safety Trainer (HSE Training | Behavior-Based Safety)

Job Summary - We are hiring an experienced Safety Trainer to deliver a portfolio of 40+ HSE training modules to employees and contractors at major industrial manufacturing sites in the UAE. Every session aims at lasting behavioural change: people who spot hazards, speak up, use stop-work authority and follow safe systems of work on the shop floor. You will deliver general safety content and company safety-tool training. The content is provided, and you bring it to life for each audience.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver 40+ safety training modules in classroom, practical and on-site settingsComplete induction and sign-off for each module within agreed timeframesAdapt delivery for mixed audiences: operators, technicians, contractors and supervisors with varying English and literacy levelsDeliver to the agreed schedule, travelling between sites as requiredUse facilitation, real scenarios, workplace stories and practical demonstrations to build hazard awareness and safe decision-makingCoach learners to challenge unsafe acts, use stop-work authority and report near missesReinforce learning through follow-up sessions, toolbox talks and on-site observationsAssess knowledge and practical competence against module standards and keep accurate recordsGather learner feedback and observation evidence, and report behaviour trends to the HSEIdentify outdated content and recommend improvements to content ownersModel EHSSQ standards at all times, in and out of the training roomEnsure training meets company procedures, UAE federal requirements and ADOSH-SFMaintain professional registration and continuing professional development (CPD)Requirements:5 to 10 years in manufacturing operations or maintenance, with a background in safety management, HSE or technical trainingExperience in aluminium, steel, oil and gas, petrochemicals or heavy manufacturing (other industrial sectors also welcome)Proven experience training adult, shop-floor audiencesExperience with behaviour-based safety (BBS) programmes preferredRecognised safety qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH (preferred)Strong communication skills; Arabic, Hindi or Urdu is an advantageMust-have Skills:Safety Training, HSE Training, Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS), Toolbox Talks, Training Delivery, Adult Learning, Hazard Identification, Stop-Work Authority, Near-Miss Reporting, ADOSH-SF, Occupational Health & Safety, EHS ComplianceTraining and soft skills:Facilitation, Coaching, Presentation Skills, Competency Assessment, Training Needs Analysis, Communication, Stakeholder Reporting, Multilingual Training
