Sage X3 Techno-Functional Implementation Consultant

Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced *Sage X3 Techno-Functional Consultant* to lead and support enterprise ERP implementations across the Distribution and Manufacturing sectors. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solution design—handling everything from high-level client discovery and accounting integration to hands-on configuration, reporting development, and user enablement### Key Responsibilities* Discovery & Business Analysis: Lead client-facing discovery sessions, map business processes, conduct gap analyses, and author detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specifications (FSD)* System Configuration & Implementation: Configure core Sage X3 modules—including Purchasing, Sales, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, and Financials—tailored to complex manufacturing and distribution workflows* Accounting & Financial Integration: Validate and ensure proper accounting flow across all operational transactions (e.g., COGS, work-in-progress, inventory valuation variance, multi-currency journal postings, and AP/AR sub-ledgers)* Reporting & Data Analytics: Design, build, and deploy enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions using Sage Enterprise Intelligence (SEI) or Sage Data & Analytics (SDA)* WMS Integration: Implement and support warehouse management extensions, specifically Datalinx Warehouse Manager for Sage X3, ensuring real-time RF scanning accuracy and inventory synchronization* Support & Post-Go-Live Care: Provide Tier 2/3 functional and technical support, resolve complex operational incidents, and manage change requests* Training & Enablement: Prepare comprehensive user guides and lead interactive training sessions for core team members and end-usersRequired Skills & Qualifications* Experience: 5 to 7 years of hands-on implementation and consultancy experience specifically in Sage X3 (Sage Business Cloud Enterprise Management)* Domain Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of *Distribution* (purchasing, order management, lot traceability, stock management) and *Manufacturing* (BOMs, work orders, shop floor control, MRP, costing)* Financial Acumen: Strong working knowledge of financial accounting principles and how operational transactions impact the General Ledger (GL) in Sage X3* Reporting Tools: Demonstrated hands-on experience developing reports, dashboards, and data models in SEI (Sage Enterprise Intelligence) or SDA (Sage Data & Analytics)* WMS Proficiency: Direct experience with Datalinx WMS (or similar Sage X3 embedded warehouse management systems)* Soft Skills: Exceptional client-facing communication, active listening, and presentation skills with the ability to build trust with executive stakeholders and key business usersPreferred / Good to Have* Technical capabilities in Sage X3 SAFE X3 development engine (subprograms, entry points, script modifications, and Crystal Reports)* Knowledge of local tax regulations and e-invoicing compliance frameworks (e.g., UAE FTA Peppol / PINT standards)* Experience with third-party software integrations (e.g., EDI, e-commerce, middleware APIs)Location: Dubai, UAEExperience Level: 5 to 7 YearsIndustry Focus: Distribution & ManufacturingKindly forward your CV on info@leafyriverai.com
