Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole: Sales & Commercial Operations CoordinatorIndustry: FMCG / RetailWorking Duration: End of July 2027 Working Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor (Accessible via MRT)Working Day/Hours: Monday – Friday; 9am – 6pm. / FlexibleSalary: Basic up to RM 6000 - RM 8000 (Based on experience + skills) + statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical insurancePosition Summary Provide dedicated operational, commercial, and administrative support to the entity’s core business teams (Transformation Directors and Commercial Directors) and Key Users who would incrementally be involved in the deployment of the project. Acting as a bridge between project execution and daily business, this role ensures business continuity by absorbing operational tasks, supporting commercial management (such as channel operations, commercial management and SISO flows), assisting with basic financial tracking, and helping local stakeholders manage their project action plans.Key Responsibilities Commercial & Channel Operations Support:Provide operational support for commercial management and channel strategies, including assisting with channel-specific coordination and general sales/distribution flow administration.Help monitor and coordinate stock-in/stock-out (SISO) flows, inventory visibility, and related commercial tracking logs to maintain day-to-day business alignment.Assist in compiling commercial reports, tracking local sales/operational KPIs, and maintaining commercial documentation.Compiling and following up on local entity data as required from Project team throughout various milestones.Foundational Finance & Administrative Support:Support basic financial scope operations, such as routine purchase order (PO) tracking, budget expenditure monitoring, and invoice-to-procurement coordination.Assist entity teams with administrative financial checks, ensuring alignment with local financial compliance guidelines and project tracking requirements.Key User & Project Action Plan Tracking:Act as the administrative point of contact for entity Key Users and Local Adaptation (LA) owners.Track and follow up on project deliverables, open points, action items, and testing schedules (e.g., UAT tracking) assigned to the entity team.Communication & Documentation Management:Facilitate clear information flow by cascading project updates, process changes, and deadlines from the central program team to entity stakeholders.Maintain an organized repository of entity-specific project documents, local process maps, and training materials compliant with program standards.Skills & Profiles Technical Proficiency (Tech Savvy)Commercial & Financial Acumen: Foundational understanding of commercial processes (channel management, SISO flows) and basic financial scope (budget tracking, PO management).Structured & Organized: Exceptionally organized, capable of managing multiple concurrent commercial and project tasks without dropping balls.Communicative & Persistent: Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to professionally follow up with stakeholders and senior team members for deliverables.Tool Savvy: Proficient in productivity and enterprise tools (Excel, SharePoint, MS Teams/Planner.Core Traits & Attributes Proactive Problem Solver: Able to anticipate operational bottlenecks, identify missing information, and propose practical solutions.People-First & Relationship Builder: Highly approachable, empathetic, and skilled at building rapport quickly across all levels of the business.Agility & Resilience: Comfortable adapting to variable workloads and flexible hours (balancing quieter admin days with fast-paced, high-intensity training days), fast changing project timelines, and quick problem solving.Exceptional Organizational Skills: Meticulous attention to detail with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced transformation environment.Can-Do / Hands-On Attitude: Proactive, action-oriented, resilient, and eager to support the team hands-on wherever needed.Preferred ExperienceProfessional Background: 1 to 3 years of experience in commercial operations, sales administration, supply/channel coordination, finance-adjacent administration, or project coordination—ideally within FMCG, retail, beauty, or a fast-paced multinational corporate environment.Commercial & Channel Exposure: Practical familiarity with commercial concepts such as order-to-cash workflows, distributor/channel management, stock-in/stock-out (SISO) visibility, or commercial reporting.Financial Acumen: Demonstrated experience handling basic financial administrative tasks.Systems & Data Literacy: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data handling, basic tracking sheets) and collaboration tools (SharePoint, MS Teams/Planner). Prior exposure to digital workflows software platform enterprise reporting dashboards is a distinct advantage.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with diverse stakeholders (sales, finance, supply chain, and project teams), showing an ability to bridge operational needs with project demands.
