Sales Application Engineer

About the RoleWe are looking for a Sales & Application Engineer who combines strong engineering fundamentals with technical sales and customer-facing skills. The role will involve understanding customer requirements, recommending engineering solutions, preparing technical/commercial proposals, and supporting sales and project execution.This is not a pure sales role. The ideal candidate should have an engineering background with an interest in developing a career in technical sales and application engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and identify customers’ technical requirements.Recommend suitable engineering products and solutions.Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and presentations.Provide technical consultation and product support to customers.Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.Conduct product/technical presentations when required.Coordinate with internal engineering and project teams.Provide after-sales technical support.Support project implementation and execution.Assist business development and sales activities.Travel locally and overseas when required.RequirementsFresh GraduateBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.Mandarin speaking is mandatory.Good English communication skills.Strong interest in technical sales.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Willing to learn and travel.Junior – 1–2 YearsEngineering background with 1–2 years of relevant experience.Exposure to technical sales, application engineering, customer support, or engineering solutions.Confident in communicating with customers.Commercially aware with an interest in sales.Willing to travel locally and overseas.Preferred Industry BackgroundCandidates with experience/exposure in the following industries are highly preferred:Industrial Gas: Air Liquide, Linde, Air Products, Messer, Taiyo Nippon SansoCryogenic EquipmentSemiconductor Gas / EquipmentVacuum Systems / Cleanroom EngineeringOil & Gas / LNGProcess EngineeringIndustrial EquipmentEngineering Solution ProvidersPreferred Technical KnowledgeGas handling systemsCryogenic applicationsPressure & flow systemsFlow controlVacuum systemsIndustrial pipingGas distribution systemsLNG applicationsIndustrial process equipment
