Sales Asociate

Museum Studio is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Sales Associate to join the boutique team at the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will help deliver an exceptional shopping experience that reflects the wonder of the Museum's collections and its mission to inspire a love of the natural world. As a true ambassador for Museum Studio and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, you will welcome a diverse, international audience, combining excellent customer service, strong product knowledge, and a collaborative team spirit. Candidates must be based in Abu Dhabi.What you'll do : 1. Customer Service & Sales– Welcome and assist museum visitors and customers in a warm and professional manner.– Provide knowledgeable information about merchandise, including museum-inspired products, books, gifts, artwork, souvenirs, and special collections.– Recommend products based on customer preferences and needs.– Achieve team sales targets and contribute to overall boutique revenue.– Handle customer enquiries, exchanges, returns, and complaints professionally.2. Store Operations– Operate the point-of-sale system (Lightspeed) accurately and efficiently.– Process cash, foreign currencies, card, and other approved payment transactions.– Maintain excellent product knowledge and stay informed about new products, exhibitions, and promotions.– Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damaged products, or discrepancies to the Store Manager.3. Merchandising, Events & Brand Representation– Ensure merchandise is properly displayed, priced, labelled, and replenished.– Assist with receiving deliveries, unpacking stock, stock transfers, and inventory counts.– Keep the sales floor, display areas, and checkout counter clean, organized, and visually appealing.– Support visual merchandising and seasonal or exhibition-related displays.– Assist with special events, VIP visits, exhibition openings, and promotional activities.– Maintain a professional appearance and represent the museum and boutique brand positively at all times. Profil This role is ideal for someone dynamic, organized, and outgoing, who can balance strong sales performance with the high standards expected of a world-class scientific and cultural institution. Previous experience in retail, tourism, or the museum sector is a plus, and a genuine curiosity for natural history, science, or conservation, along with a good level of English (Arabic or other additional languages are a bonus), will be highly valued.
