Sales Assistant - Home Division

We are looking for a Sales Assistant responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their furniture selections, and contributing to the overall success of the store. This role involves engaging with customers, managing sales transactions, and ensuring the store is well-presented and organized. ResponsibilitiesGreet customers warmly and assist them with their furniture and decor needs.Provide knowledgeable advice on furniture styles, materials, and finishes.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.Assist customers in selecting furniture that meets their needs and preferences. Prepare and process special orders, returns, and exchanges according to store policies.Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.Ensure furniture displays are well-arranged and properly stocked.Assist with merchandising and setting up promotional displays as directed.Monitor stock levels and report any inventory shortages or issues to the Store Manager.Assist with receiving and unpacking new inventory shipments.Conduct periodic inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.Follow up with customers regarding their orders and delivery arrangements.Provide information on delivery schedules and coordinate with delivery personnel as needed.Work collaboratively with other sales assistants and store staff to achieve store goals.Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious retail or sales experience preferred, especially in furniture or home goods
