Sales Assistant – Petrochemicals-International Trading / Petrochemicals / SAP & Logistics Coordination-A leading international trading company is seeking a Sales Assistant to join its Petrochemicals Department in Düsseldorf.This role will provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, covering customer order management, delivery coordination, SAP processing, logistics arrangements and documentation. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and logistics providers to ensure smooth daily trading operations.The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, and experience in import/export documentation. German and English fluency are required.(Ref: CC47676 - Please include this when making any enquiries.)Main ResponsibilitiesSupport daily trading activities within the Petrochemicals departmentTrack customer sales performance, order volumes and product movementsCoordinate delivery schedules with customers, suppliers, and logistics providersArrange truck logistics schedules and prepare necessary shipping instructionsProcess sales orders within SAP and manage related documentationPrepare sales contracts, invoices, and delivery documents for customersMonitor payments from customers, suppliers, and logistics partnersPrepare monthly closing documents including inventory lists, customs documents, insurance records, and budget filesIdeal CandidateFluent German and English communication skillsPrevious experience in import/export, trading, logistics, or sales supportKnowledge of current trade regulations and international business processesMicrosoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience with SAP is highly advantageousBasic understanding of accounting and inventory operationsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesFlexible and proactive approach with the ability to work under pressurePrevious experience working in a multinational company would be advantageousBasic knowledge of chemicals or petrochemicals would be advantageousConditions
