Sales Associate

We are recruiting a Sales Associate who will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales activities at Shabby Chic, assisting customers throughout their shopping experience, facilitating purchases, and providing excellent customer service. The Sales Associate will focus on achieving individual sales targets while actively contributing to the overall store sales performance and ensuring a positive customer experience.Responsibilities & Duties:Greeting customers when they walk through the entranceBuilding rapport through conversation and honest recommendationsRinging up sales and arranging for delivery or pick-up of the customer’s order if neededInviting the customer to join a loyalty program if there is oneAssisting in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floorCollaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all timesAchievement of individual targetsConsistently demonstrate excellent selling skillsThorough knowledge of features & benefits of products and brands in the storeUnderstanding of competing brands and pricesAware of internal procedures, processes, and systemsProtection of stock (minimizing stock loss & damages)Drive the businesses KPI’s; ATV, ASP, IPT to always be above the expected thresholdRequirements:To actively approach all aspects of work in a positive, productive, and professional mannerExcellent sales, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely mannerWorking knowledge of customer, market dynamics and requirementsAbility to multitask, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the businessEnthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to please each and every customer by offering outstanding customer serviceEnglish language is essential
