Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting customers, understanding their needs, presenting jewelry options, and guiding them through purchase decisions in a consultative manner. The role involves maintaining product knowledge, explaining features and benefits, handling sales transactions, and meeting or exceeding individual and store sales goals. Sales Associates also assist with visual merchandising, inventory handling, store cleanliness, and security procedures. Collaboration with team members and adherence to company policies and ethical standards are essential.Qualifications Customer service and sales skills, including active listening, relationship-building, and a consultative approach to retail selling.Communication skills, with the ability to explain product details clearly and interact comfortably with a diverse range of customers.Basic math, cash-handling, and point-of-sale (POS) system skills to complete transactions accurately and efficiently.Attention to detail and reliability in following store procedures, security guidelines, and merchandising standards.Ability to stand for extended periods, move around the sales floor, and handle small jewelry items safely and carefully.Interest in fine jewelry, fashion, and luxury retail; prior retail or customer-facing experience is preferred.Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate, accept feedback, and contribute to a positive store culture.High school diploma or equivalent; willingness to complete provided training and certification programs.
