In this role, the Sales Associate greets customers, identifies their needs, and provides knowledgeable guidance on jewelry products, features, and care. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with product selection, processing sales transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining accurate point-of-sale records. The Sales Associate also helps with merchandising displays, inventory checks, and keeping the store clean and organized. This role involves building lasting customer relationships, meeting sales targets, and collaborating with team members to ensure a positive in-store experience.Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and professionally with a diverse clientele.Sales and retail experience, ideally in jewelry, luxury goods, or a similar customer-facing environment.Basic numeracy and comfort with point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and transaction processing.Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain product details and care instructions.Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing inventory, displays, and store presentation.Ability to stand for extended periods, move around the sales floor, and handle small merchandise safely.Reliability and flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in retail or sales is an asset.Interest in jewelry, fashion, or luxury retail and willingness to learn product knowledge and industry trends.
