In this position, the Sales Specialist engages customers on the sales floor, understands their needs, and recommends appropriate furniture, mattresses, appliances, and electronics solutions. The role involves actively driving sales, meeting or exceeding performance targets, and contributing to store merchandising and product presentation. The Sales Specialist provides exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale, including follow-ups and coordination with delivery and service teams. This role also includes staying current on product knowledge, participating in in-store training, and collaborating with teammates to maintain a positive, high-performing environment.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage customers, build rapport, and support a positive in-store experience.Candidates should possess solid Sales skills, including the ability to identify customer needs, present solutions, and close sales in a retail environment.Candidates should possess Training and Sales Management skills or experience to support product knowledge development and contribute to achieving store sales goals.Additional beneficial qualifications include prior retail or showroom experience, comfort working with sales targets and KPIs, and proficiency with POS systems.A flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and the ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light product movement.
