This role involves welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and providing product recommendations that align with style, budget, and occasion. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with jewelry and piercing inquiries, completing sales transactions, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining accurate point-of-sale records. The Sales Associate helps keep displays clean, organized, and visually appealing, supports inventory receiving and stocking, and follows store policies and procedures. The role also contributes to meeting sales goals, promoting current offers, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive shopping environment.Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide a welcoming in-store experience.Basic sales, cash-handling, and point-of-sale (POS) skills, including comfort with using retail systems and following transaction procedures.Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain merchandise displays, manage inventory tasks, and follow store standards.Ability to learn and apply product knowledge about jewelry, piercings, and related care to advise customers confidently.Reliability and professionalism, including punctuality, adherence to company policies, and commitment to health and safety guidelines.Comfort working on feet for extended periods, and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise and fixtures as needed.Previous retail or customer-facing experience is helpful but not required; willingness to learn and accept coaching is essential.Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support store operating hours and peak shopping periods.
