Sales Associate — Museum Studio Boutique, Natural History Museum Abu DhabiMuseum Studio is looking for a passionate, customer-focused Sales Associate to join our boutique team in Abu Dhabi. Customer Service & Sales– Welcome and assist museum visitors and customers in a warm and professional manner.– Provide knowledgeable information about merchandise, including museum-inspired products, books, gifts, artwork, souvenirs, and special collections.– Recommend products based on customer preferences and needs.– Achieve team sales targets and contribute to overall boutique revenue.– Handle customer enquiries, exchanges, returns, and complaints professionally.2. Store Operations– Operate the point-of-sale system (Lightspeed) accurately and efficiently.– Process cash, foreign currencies, card, and other approved payment transactions.– Maintain excellent product knowledge and stay informed about new products, exhibitions, and promotions.– Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damaged products, or discrepancies to the Store Manager.3. Merchandising, Events & Brand Representation– Ensure merchandise is properly displayed, priced, labelled, and replenished.– Assist with receiving deliveries, unpacking stock, stock transfers, and inventory counts.– Keep the sales floor, display areas, and checkout counter clean, organized, and visually appealing.– Support visual merchandising and seasonal or exhibition-related displays.– Assist with special events, VIP visits, exhibition openings, and promotional activities.– Maintain a professional appearance and represent the museum and boutique brand positively at all times.Who we're looking for:Dynamic, organized, and outgoing personality suited to a fast-paced retail environmentBased in Abu DhabiPrevious experience in retail, tourism, or museums is a plus but not requiredGenuine curiosity about natural history, science, or conservationGood level of English; Arabic fluency and additional languages are a strong assetInterest in growing a long-term career within the UAE's cultural and tourism sectorWhy apply:Opportunity to contribute to UAE goals within the tourism and culture sector.Training and development in retail operations, customer service, and museum retail merchandisingWork at one of Abu Dhabi's flagship cultural institutions.
