Today, First MFG Co. continues to manufacture durable leather goods for hundreds of brands, including its own, while maintaining its commitment to craftsmanship and authenticity.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Oceanside, NY. The Sales Associate will assist customers in selecting products, provide detailed information about leather goods and motorcycle lifestyle apparel, and ensure a positive in-store experience from greeting to checkout. Daily responsibilities include managing sales transactions, maintaining organized and visually appealing displays, restocking inventory, and keeping the sales floor clean and safe. The role also involves learning product features, monitoring customer feedback, and supporting promotional activities to drive store sales. The Sales Associate will collaborate closely with store leadership and team members to meet sales goals and uphold First MFG Co.’s customer service standards.Qualifications Demonstrated customer service and retail sales skills, with the ability to engage customers and support their purchasing decisions.Basic point-of-sale, cash handling, and transaction processing skills, including accuracy and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Organizational and merchandising skills, including maintaining product displays, stock levels, and a tidy sales floor.Interest in or familiarity with motorcycles, motorcycle lifestyle products, or leather goods is highly beneficial.Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise as needed, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.Prior experience in retail, fashion, or specialty goods is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
