The founders’ recognition with the British Empire Medal further reinforces the company’s trust and influence among consumers and industry partners.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based at the Bike Shed Moto Co venue in Los Angeles, CA. The Salesperson will greet and engage guests, understand their needs, and guide them through product selections across retail, merchandise, and moto-related offerings. Daily responsibilities include delivering knowledgeable product recommendations, processing sales transactions, managing stock on the sales floor, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. The role involves building lasting customer relationships, supporting promotional events, and collaborating closely with the wider team to ensure a consistent, high-quality brand experience. The Salesperson will also provide feedback on customer trends and help optimize the in-store experience to drive revenue and strengthen the Bike Shed community.Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse guests in a friendly, professional manner.Sales and retail skills, including consultative selling, point-of-sale transaction handling, and basic inventory management.Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to explain product features and benefits.Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, tasks, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Interest in motorcycles, moto culture, or lifestyle brands, with willingness to learn detailed product and brand knowledge.Reliability and professionalism, including punctuality, integrity, and a collaborative approach to working with team members.Ability to stand and move around the venue for extended periods and to perform basic physical tasks related to stocking and merchandising.Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or sales is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
