In this role, the Sales Associate engages with customers on the showroom floor to understand their needs, recommend furniture, mattresses, and appliances, and guide them through product features, pricing, and financing options. Responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge, presenting merchandise in a professional manner, and ensuring a positive and welcoming store experience. The Sales Associate processes sales transactions, follows up with customers regarding orders and deliveries, and supports store merchandising and cleanliness standards. This role collaborates closely with team members to meet individual and store sales goals while delivering consistent, customer-focused service.Qualifications Strong customer service and sales skills, including the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and present solutions that match customer needs.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain product features clearly and work collaboratively with a diverse team.Basic math and computer skills to handle pricing, financing options, and point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently.Ability to learn and retain detailed product knowledge across furniture, mattresses, and appliances, and apply that knowledge in customer interactions.Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude, with a focus on meeting goals and delivering high-quality customer experiences.Comfort working in a retail environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Previous retail or sales experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to participate in training and ongoing development is essential.
