The Sales Associate will welcome customers, listen to their needs, and guide them through product selection to help them celebrate important occasions. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing knowledgeable product recommendations, explaining features and benefits, handling sales transactions, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves keeping displays and showcases organized and visually appealing, supporting inventory management, and adhering to company policies and procedures. Sales Associates collaborate with team members to meet individual and store sales goals while delivering a positive, respectful, and inclusive customer experience.Qualifications Customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport, communicate clearly, and create a welcoming in-store experience.Sales and retail skills, such as engaging customers, understanding needs, recommending products, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.Basic business and operational skills, including handling point-of-sale systems, processing payments accurately, and following store and security procedures.Organization and attention to detail for maintaining merchandise displays, managing inventory tasks, and ensuring accurate documentation.Ability to learn and apply product knowledge related to jewelry, metals, and gemstones to support confident customer guidance.Reliability and professionalism, including consistent attendance, punctuality, and adherence to company standards and ethical practices.Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in a retail environment.Prior retail or customer-facing experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
