First Balfour promotes a respectful and professional environment, including its online presence, aligned with its core values and culture.Role Description The President will provide strategic leadership and overall direction for First Balfour, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission, values, and long-term growth objectives. This full-time, on-site role located in Central Luzon, Philippines involves overseeing business operations, major projects, and diversified business units, while driving operational excellence, safety, and sustainability across all engineering and construction activities. The President will lead the executive team, make key decisions on resource allocation and investment, and cultivate strong relationships with clients, partners, regulators, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include setting performance targets, monitoring financial results, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards, certifications, and legal requirements. The role also requires fostering a high-performance, people-centered culture that supports talent development, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement.Qualifications Proven leadership experience at the executive level in engineering, construction, infrastructure, or a closely related industry.Strong strategic planning, business development, and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.Deep understanding of civil, mechanical, and electrical works, project management, and large-scale construction operations.Knowledge of quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and regulatory compliance.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent the organization to clients, partners, and regulators.Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, drive continuous improvement, and promote a respectful, inclusive, and values-driven culture.Track record in managing diversified business units or subsidiaries, ideally in related fields such as drilling, equipment rentals, transport, or aggregates.Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field
