Sales Business Development

Role Description The Sales Business Development role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home. This role focuses on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential partners, and supporting the expansion of USIT’s presence in target markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research on relevant technology sectors, generating and nurturing leads, preparing outreach materials, and coordinating meetings and follow-ups with prospective clients and stakeholders. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools, supporting sales presentations and proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to align business development activities with investment priorities and strategic objectives.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to understand technology sectors, evaluate opportunities, and develop data-driven insights.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to engage stakeholders, prepare clear presentations, and support negotiations and relationship-building.Candidates should possess effective Lead Generation and Customer Service skills to identify prospects, manage outreach campaigns, and ensure a professional experience for potential partners.Candidates should possess the ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with CRM tools and productivity software.Relevant experience in sales, business development, venture capital, private equity, or technology sectors is beneficial, as is familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, advanced computing, and defense tech.A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field is preferred, along with a demonstrated interest in innovation and national-interest aligned technologies.
